The Prince George’s County Food Equity Council in Prince George’s County, Maryland creates systemic change to the local food system, promoting health, economic opportunity, food security, and well-being, especially among communities that have been negatively impacted by the current food system.

The FEC’s work with multi-sector partners and the County Council has led to significant policy accomplishments and the growing recognition of Prince George’s County as a state and regional leader in progressive and fair food, farm and health policy.   IPHI serves as the backbone organization for the FEC.
