Social Media Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in engaging with the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) on social media. Here are our rules of engagement. These guidelines aim to set clear expectations when engaging with IPHI on social media.

Our Responsibility

We will listen, learn, share, and educate our partners and community through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. Our social media outlets follow the federal holiday observance schedule.

We respond to and engage with all posts as long as a post does not contain the following:

  1. Profanity
  2. Spam
  3. Vulgarity
  4. Defamation
  5. Off-topic comments
  6. Personal attacks
  7. Threats/Unsupported accusations
  8. Sensitive or personal identifying information

If any posts contain the previously mentioned content, the posts will be reviewed and hidden from public view and/or deleted. If warranted, posts of this nature may also be forwarded to an appropriate authority.

IPHI’s social media should not be used to receive direct services – housing, immunizations, food, etc.
