Network Member Impact Award

This award is granted to a NNPHI network member that exemplifies the mission and vision of NNPHI by working effectively in partnership, using evidence-based methods to improve public health, and has had a measurable impact in the region, state, or locality.

“The Institute for Public Health Innovation is this year’s 2023 NNPHI Network Member Impact Award Winner. IPHI provided essential capacity support to state and local health departments in the Washington, DC-Maryland-Virginia region during the COVID-19 pandemic. The nimble response from the IPHI team allowed them to successfully recruit, hire, and retain a surge workforce, provide rapid training, and reduce infections, hospitalizations, and deaths through the deployment of CHWs and contact tracing.”
