The Community Health Worker (CHW) under the CHWs for Healthy Virginia and implemented in collaboration with the Mount Rogers Health District and other partners. A CHW is a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of the community and/or has a close understanding of the community served. This trusting relationship enables the CHW to serve as a liaison/link/intermediary between health/social services and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery.

The Director of the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council will lead collaborative public health program development, implementation, and evaluation activities, with a principal focus on food systems approaches. This senior leadership position requires oversight and coordination of high-quality program design and delivery, internal administration and project management, external partnership facilitation, and cultivation of new business opportunities and program portfolio development, as well as other responsibilities.

The Development and Grants Manager (DGM) should be a professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to equity to ensure the preparation of high-quality proposals and grant applications. The position will also be responsible for the administrative work in researching, identifying, developing, and responding to public and private grant opportunities to support IPHI’s mission and programs.

The Facilitator/Navigator for the Public Health Youth Ambassador Program (PHYAP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, will work as an integrated part of the Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD). This role will perform professional-level management work in the areas of program operations, community health education, programmatic policy analysis and development, and functional partnership engagement.
